Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: February 2026
At GoBir, we strive to ensure a seamless experience. This policy outlines the terms under which
cancellations and refunds are processed for food delivery and event tickets.
1. Food Delivery Orders
Cancellations
- Before Acceptance: You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before
it is accepted by the merchant/chef.
- After Acceptance: Once the merchant has accepted the order and started preparation,
cancellations are generally not permitted. If a cancellation is processed at this stage, a
cancellation fee up to the full order value may apply.
Refunds
Refunds for food orders may be granted in the following cases:
- Missing or Incorrect Items: If you receive an order with missing or incorrect
items, please contact support within 2 hours of delivery.
- Quality Issues: Proof of quality issues (e.g., photos) may be required.
- Delivery Failure: If the order is not delivered within a reasonable time frame due
to platform or driver error, a full refund will be issued.
2. Event Tickets
Cancellations
- Host Cancellation: If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you will receive a
100% refund of the ticket price.
- User Cancellation: Tickets are generally refundable up to 24 hours before
the event start time, subject to the specific organizer's policy. Some events may be
non-refundable; this will be clearly stated on the event page.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds for events will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
3. Community Feed
The Community Feed is a free, non-transactional feature that allows users to post updates, like, and
comment on community happenings. As no payments are involved, refund and cancellation policies do not
apply to this feature.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation:
- Go to the "Orders" or "Tickets" section in the GoBir app.
- Select the relevant transaction and tap "Help" or "Cancel".
