Account Deletion Request

We value your privacy. If you wish to delete your GoBir account and all associated data, you have two options to ensure your information is permanently removed from our systems.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the GoBir mobile application:

1. Open the GoBir app.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap on Edit Profile (or the settings gear icon).
4. Select Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
5. Confirm your choice. Your account and data will be queued for immediate deletion.

Option 2: Manual Request via Email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request manual deletion by contacting us:

• Email: gobirhelp@gmail.com
• Information needed: Please include your registered phone number or email address associated with the account.
• Processing time: We will verify your identity and process your deletion within 14 days.

What data will be deleted?

When you delete your account, the following information is permanently erased from our active databases:

• Your personal profile information (name, email, phone).
• Your community posts and comments.
• Your market and housing listings.
• Your chat history with other users.

Note: Transactional records (like payment receipts) may be retained for a period of time as required by Indian law for tax and audit purposes.
